This fast growing nationwide digital product development company has an immediate 6+ month contract opportunity for a Human Resources Administrative Assistant.  Can work 100% remotely from anywhere in the United States, working Eastern Time business hours.  The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, fast-paced professional with a background in human resources. Requires an affinity for projects, processes, and very organized with an exceptional attention to detail.  Will report directly to the Executive Business Partner working closely with the VP of People and will collaborate with cross-functional teams when needed. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creating and owning the employee file management process, including collecting, reviewing, filing, and auditing employee files and other Human Resource documents. 

  • Auditing Human Resource documentation across multiple platforms and consolidate into a single, organized storage system.

  • Actively assisting with standardizing and templatizing Human Resource and Talent Acquisition documents and forms for use across the company by various stakeholders. 

  • Aiding in process documentation including outlining steps required to replicate actions required by the People Operations team during the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding. 

  • Owning and managing all administrative tasks for 1099 contractor process including drafting new contractor agreements, contractor renewal agreements, and maintaining an accurate database of active & prior 1099 contractors. 

  • Other HR administrative duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years of Human Resources/People Operations administrative experience.

  • Knowledge and ability to work with word processing, spreadsheets, and database platforms. 

  • Experience in human resources, including HRIS and ATS platforms.

  • Strong preference towards a familiarity with Mac operating systems.

  • Time management and the ability to pro-actively manage multiple priorities and projects.

  • High level of integrity and a demonstrated ability to deal effectively with confidential information.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven track record to build trust and rapport quickly.

  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitor own work to ensure quality. 

  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, and an ability to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. 

  • Ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner. 

  • Strong organizational skills and work well under pressure.
