HR Payroll Coordinator

Terrific 6+ month contract opportunity in Irving, TX for an HR/Payroll Coordinator.
Responsibilities include:
  • Will process over 600 timesheets per week.
  • Reconcile timecards, manual adjustments for the 24hr rule, enter missed punches, remove extra punches, remove erroneous transfers, enter vacation, jury duty, sick pay, floating holidays, additional 6 minutes for temperature screening 14-day decrews, personal leaves, FMLA, etc.
  • Research and correct pay issues (Late documentation, late info from HR, incorrect schedules, inactive EEs, offcycles, Western Unions, termed EEs who claim they are missing hours, etc.).
  • Reporting (Payroll report, SAP error report, TEMSE report, daily OT, EEs with no hours, payroll approval scorecard, excessive hours, etc.).
  • Balance payroll register.
  • Staffing deck. Creating the deck, follow ups from the prior week’s staffing meeting, deep dive any data that there were questions on form the prior or current week.
  • Scanning payroll paperwork onto shared drive.
  • Update schedules (Enter schedule into Kronos, enter pay rule into SAP, enter employment term into Kronos).
  • Update badges (New hires and anyone who gets a new badge throughout the week).
  • Update new hire profiles in SAP.
  • Troubleshoot Kronos issues.
  • Work on tickets as they arise.
  • Answer emails surrounding payroll issues (everything from access issues to payroll policies to looking through future dated vacation paperwork to make sure it’s submitted to pulling check stubs for EEs, answering questions on how OT and Double time pay).
  • Answering training questions from newer managers, answering questions from HR surrounding pay policies.
  • Look up historical data to see how things are paid in the past for HR and/or managers.
  • Answer questions from EEs about their accruals.
  • Pull old Kronos documents for discipline or write ups.
  • Validate and payout vacation for terminations and retirees).
  • 3+ years of coordinator and/or administrative experience.
  • 5+ years of payroll experience.
  • Previous experience working in Human Resources.
  • Experience using both SAP and Kronos timekeeping systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
