Grants Analyst

Long term contract opportunity in New York, NY for a Grants Analyst. Will have the specific responsibility of providing support to the processing and management of grants as well as information and reporting system management.
 
Responsibilities:
Grants Administration (50%)
  • Perform due diligence and completeness review of grant applications, and liaise with applicants, Program Officers and company colleagues worldwide to ensure grants meet requirements.
  • Assist in coordination of grants payment process.
  • Respond to team related and grant specific inquiries from grantees and company colleagues.
  • Ensure timely receipt and conduct detailed review of grantee reports and grant modifications.
  • Prepare approved grants for Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) verification.
  • Advise on process improvements to increase efficiency. Systemize and document processes and procedures.
 
Information and Database System Management (40%)
  • Prepare and provide data for external benchmarking surveys, assist in ad hoc reporting, and run regular efficiency metrics for internal and external purposes.
  • Support the team in managing Grant Management system (FLUXX) user experience, ensuring top notch experience for all internal and external users (including customer service, technical support, and problem resolution).
  • Ensure data quality assurance process is in place and regularly completed.
  • Advise on appropriate system and workflow improvements.
 
Operations Administration (10%)
  • Assist in ensuring adherence to company compliance requirement and initiatives such as internal and external audits, company screenings, AB&C and AML approvals, MCA, Information Security, COB, and Records Management.
  • Schedule and organize meetings and general event support.
  • Process vendor invoices and submit purchase orders for payment.
  • Provide administrative support to senior managers, including scheduling meetings, planning travel, and processing travel and expense reports.
  • Support departmental needs and manage special projects as needed.
 
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years in public affairs, philanthropy, corporate social responsibility, or related field or a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) and ability to quickly learn new software programs.
  • Knowledge in Fluxx or other grants management software a plus.
