Full Stack Developer

Houston based energy client is searching for a full stack developer who can develop API services using Node JS and deploy on AWS with complete unit and integration testing. This individual should have Test-driven development experience, solid OOP knowledge and strong knowledge of AWS services.

This is a 100% remote, long-term contract opportunity! 


  • Computer Science degree or strong OOP background
  • Minimum 6 years of development experience
  • Extensive experience with asynchronous programming in Javascript/Typescript in a NodeJS environment.
  • You have experience building and using REST APIs.
  • You have an expert understanding of data structures.
  • Experience with building with security, extensibility, and complexity in mind when designing features or systems.
  • Expert level experience with AWS Lambda and API Gateway
  • You are extensive knowledge of serverless architectures in AWS
  • Experience with AWS Components such as Code Build, Cognito, SES, CloudWatch
  • Experience in Agile Scrum, SDLC and Waterfall methodologies
