Position: Regulatory Reporting
Location: Atlanta, GA 
Term: 5 months
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the preparation of financial data being reported in corporate 10-Q and 10-K filings, as well as the separate company audited financial statements.
  • Prepare selected footnotes and disclosures, collation of supporting records, and tie down of financial information.
  • Coordinate with investor relations and support preparation of quarterly earnings presentation.
  • Coordinate with Global Business Services / accounting teams to obtain information, document variances, provide audit support, etc.
    Prepare commentary and analysis of the monthly consolidated balance sheet.
  • Review monthly templates received by subsidiaries.
  • Monitor completion of monthly financial close checklists to ensure compliance with SOX controls.
  • Facilitate related audits/reviews by external auditors.
  • Assist SOX team in year-end testing support and resolving issues with auditors.
  • Transaction support duties such as controls execution and memo documentation of transactions/issues.
  • Review and document SOC-1 reports for SOX control purposes.
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
  • Undergraduate or graduate Degree in Accounting.
  • 6+ years related work experience.
  • Working knowledge of a SOX control environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize work to meet internal and external reporting timelines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly to the finance teams around the group and to receive necessary information as support for financial disclosures.
  • Proactive in identifying reporting issues and developing solutions.
  • Ability to perform detailed reviews of documents and publications prepared by team.
  • Ability to process technical accounting concepts and determine their applicability to the financial reporting process.
Even better if you have:
  • CPA candidate or CPA.
  • Public accounting experience.
  • Workiva/HFM/Oracle/Smartview / BlackLine experience.
