Our client, a leading software company headquartered in Raleigh, is in search of an Executive Recruiter to join their Talent Acquisition team.

Job Summary

Our client is seeking an executive recruiter to join the growing Executive Recruiting team. This role reports to the Executive Recruiting Manager and is part of the Global business Partners and Talent Solutions team. This person will have the maturity and credibility to serve as an initial point of contact for external and internal executive leadership talent.

He/She will use a diverse skill set as a versatile executive sourcer and recruiter, helping to bring and facilitate high quality talent to our leadership ranks at our client. Market research, sourcing, pipelining, and competitor research may also be components of this role, as needed.


The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment where he/she is comfortable with ambiguity and can take initiative and show a high level of organization, strong communication skills, and partnership skills with internal stakeholders.


Primary responsibilities


Sourcing and Recruiting

? Support executive level hiring needs by sourcing and engaging external and internal prospects and candidates for Senior Director level positions at our client.

? Partner with the other members of the exec recruiting team to create a positive candidate experience representative of our clients' values and culture, maintaining a high touch experience throughout the recruiting cycle.

? Proactively identify, engage, and motivate passive top talent to join our client through engaging and insightful conversations

? Establish and form solid working partnership with other executive recruiter and executive coordinator to ensure handoffs, communication, expectations are coordinated and smooth throughout the recruitment and hiring process

? Manage the full life cycle of Senior Director positions beginning with candidate sourcing strategy, interview panel construct, prep and support, candidate selection management and offer negotiation and support

? Work closely with HRBPs and the compensation team to garner pertinent organization and compensation information that supports decision-making for hiring managers


Talent Scouting and Market Research

? Contribute to building pipelines of high caliber executive talent through proactive outreach, referral nurturing, and relationship-building

? Conduct market research for critical talent pools or skills sets to identify and gather market insights, candidate profiles and talent data

? Deploy focused efforts on identifying highly qualified, diverse candidates for key executive roles

? Serve as a thought leader, bringing outside intelligence on competitors, high-demand talent and other critical talent pools that our client is seeking, preparing and/or presenting content to other internal execs or HR Business Partners as needed

? Stay abreast of key trends in executive hiring arena, providing market market intelligence to support senior executive talent strategy initiatives, where needed

? Proactively research and investigate new ideas and channels to assist in creating innovative sourcing strategies


Required Skills

? 3-5+ years of scouting or sourcing experience, preferably with manager or senior level roles

? Ability to maturely engage candidates and appropriately represent our brand and our clients' long-term strategic growth plans

? Proven organizational skills; ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks in an environment that is always evolving and with competing demands

? Solid knowledge and understanding of technology industry trends and needs

? Excellent social networking skills

? Proficiency in leveraging Linked In Recruiter for advanced sourcing techniques

? Ability to establish trusted business partner and stakeholder relationships and achieve desired results

? Ability to deal with uncertainty and ambiguity with positivity and forward progress and a solutions focused mindset

? Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills

? Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATSs) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems; Avature is a plus

? Motivated with the ability to work on your own within a fast-paced environment with frequent changes of priorities
