Position: Events Coordinator
Location: Remote
Hourly Rate: $40/hr.
Term: 5 Months Contract

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate cross-functional leaders to host 90-minute monthly priority calls for 1200 retail field leaders.
  • Responsibilities include aligning the agenda with the business needs, coordinating presenters, setting up rehearsal, liaison for AV team, and facilitating executive comments for Senior Vice Presidents.
  • Serving as an event project manager for large-scale multi-day, multi-faceted conference scheduled for the end of February 2022, creating timelines, coordinating planning meetings, leading working teams, collaborating with business partners (ie. Human resources, change management, operations, merchandising, event planning, corporate communications) to drive toward deliverables, and keeping partners informed.
  • Draft, review and edit executive retail leadership team talk tracks to support monthly virtual retail meetings and retail conference in February
  • Required experience & skills

Is it a good fit? (Requirements):
  • 3+ years of planning experience in virtual, in-person, or hybrid corporate events
  • Demonstrate outstanding time management and organizational skills with a proven record of success in planning, managing, and executing multiple events simultaneously
  • Ability to lead working teams on complex programs – ensuring that all milestones and deadlines are met
  • Strong organizational skills – ability to successfully manage multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Work independently under own direction and initiative

  • Brand conscious and creative with a strong sense of the importance of messaging and design and how we show up as a brand internally that makes employees feel proud
  • A true writing pro! Someone with deep understanding of grammar, strong attention to detail and fine-tuned editorial and copy-editing skills from memos to speeches, as well as an understanding of how to write “in the voice of an executive”
  • Willingness to apply creative and critical thinking to routine and new events
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word) and One Drive
  • Bachelor’s degree
