Position: Enterprise Output Management Specialist
Location: Collegeville, Pennsylvania 19426
Term: 12 Months Contract-to-hire (01/04/2021 to 12/31/2021)
Schedule: 8:30 – 5:30; there will be occasional OT and rotating on-call hours.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Provide global support for company’s critical SAP Print Output Management application, VPSX.  VPSX, which is a product from a company named LRS, provides robust, scalable output management for UNIX, Linux, Windows and other distributed environments.
  • Responsible for the safe output and global delivery of business documents regardless of the originating location, platform, document format or destination.
  • Monitor the application, its activity and its performance relative to print output and related services.
  • Address, manage, perform root cause analysis and resolve output/delivery failures.
  • Setup and maintain the company’s enterprise-wide printer landscape testing environment to enable failover to secondary servers in the event of outages to the primary servers.
  • Create VPSX queues and integrate them with the application.
  • Resolve VPSX incident tickets submitted by clients via Service Center related to:
    • Printer definitions
    • Driver definitions
    • Character conversions.
  • Write and maintain knowledge base articles related to output management including:
    • Support solutions.
    • Error messages.
    • Tips, tricks and how-to articles.
  • Support the following capabilities:
    • Printing of SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe
    • Barcode printing
    • Internationalization
    • Printing assistant for landscapes.
