Position: Enterprise Architect

The Enterprise Architect works with stakeholders, including team IT leadership, EA roles, program management, technical, functional and business process subject matter experts, to build a holistic view of an organization's strategy, processes, information, and information technology assets. The Enterprise Architect links the business mission, strategy, and processes of an organization to its IT strategy, and documents this using multiple architectural models or views that show how the current and future needs of an organization will be met in an efficient, sustainable, and adaptable manner.   




  • Combine current state of enterprise landscape, long-term IT organization strategy, and industry best practices to develop architecture roadmaps
  • Develop trust and build effective working relationships through respectful, collaborative engagement across business and IT
  • Develop, document, and evangelize architectural principles, patterns, and standards
  • Develop and present various architectural deliverables as needed to communicate concept and principles to stakeholders
  • Track industry and application trends and relate these to planning current and future IT needs
  • Foster an innovative culture across IT with an eye toward agility, scalability and reliability
  • Identify and recommend areas appropriate for further study; participate in any Proof of Concept projects required to thoroughly investigate architectural possibilities and strengthen arguments for their adoption.
  • Serve as a mentor and guide while partnering with various levels of architects, ensuring alignment and best fit solutions

  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
  • Professional Experience:  Minimum ten years of experience in design, development, administration, troubleshooting of applications, and minimum two years experience as an Architect or related position.
  • Strong technical capabilities and aptitude
  • Strong knowledge of application development concepts and practices.
