Position: Engineering Tech / Part Handling
Location: Tarrytown, NY 10591
Term: 12 months
 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Provide logistic support for the ordering and shipping of parts to the company’s sites and initial customer installations.
  • Shipping and receiving parts, fulfilling part orders and maintaining and monitoring inventory.
  • Secondary responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading complex diagnostic equipment during all stages of development.
  • Assists with engineering related studies, processes, designs, inspections and/or quality audits.
  • Provides assistance with gathering, recording and maintaining engineering specific information.
  • Provides assistance with testing and troubleshooting in a variety of engineering tasks.
  • Assists in troubleshooting, assembling, and retrofitting prototypes.

  • Experienced with electrical and mechanical devices, electrical wiring, fluidics components, schematics and technical drawings.
  • Communications/ IT experience.
  • Familiar with diagnostic software and remote access diagnostics.
  • Experienced with Diagnostic instruments and methodologies.

  • Technical education.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade complex instruments and provide assistance with testing and troubleshooting in a variety of engineering tasks.
  • Able to work independently, shipping and receiving parts and assisting with part related questions and orders and monitoring and maintaining parts inventory.
  • Proven ability to work with CAD drawings to select proper parts for orders.
  • Experience to troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade complex Diagnostic instruments.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a Field service or R&D environment.
