Long term contract opportunity in Annapolis, MD for a .Net Developer. Will perform software development working under the direction of a Project Lead. Will work on the company’s Flight Information Display System (FIDS). Will be required to understand a set of software requirement document and then implement those requirements within the product. Will be working within an established architecture and framework. Will be working with the full stack of the application suits from the UI through all the backend services and into the database.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with 3-5+ years of experience. Or Associates with 5-7+ years or experience. In the absence of a degree, HS diploma/GED with 7+ years of experience.
  • Proficient in Jira, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Visio for documentation purposes.
  • General programming and security best practices.
  • Experience using .NET Framework programming languages ( a plus, C# acceptable).
  • Web services (Web API with REST structure and JSON)
  • .NET WinForms GUI applications.
  • Multi-threading applications.
  • SQL server database.
  • .NET Windows services.
  • JavaScript written using TypeScript.
  • Visual Studios development IDE
  • The following capabilities would be a plus for a candidate: Angular 8+, DevExpress Control Libraries, Web Sockets, HTML5 Canvas, Direct2D Graphics Library, MSMQ Queues and knowledge of clustering/load balancing.
  • Attention to detail, develop creative solutions for complex and abstract problems and concentrate for long periods is a must.
