POSITION:   .NET Developer

 

LOCATIONS: Atlanta, GA

            *Works at unanticipated project sites throughout the US  

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Development using .NET, MVC/ASP.NET. Transition the data processing within MS SQL Server-based tools from Liquidity Risk Management to our client’s information technology-supported infrastructure and ensure proper technology support is in place. Address embedded IT and privileged access challenges that exist with the current solution. Participate in efforts to eliminate Local Admin Rights (LAR) for business users. Participate in the process to house data on an approved data platform while still allowing the line of business appropriate secure access to data processing and its results. Enable Liquidity Risk Management to meet stringent regulatory reporting timelines, as well as mission critical risk and collateral management and Recovery & Resolution objectives. Support handling of frequent changes in requirements, changes in incoming data, and data quality issues in a more controlled manner, without slowing the enhancement process, and without compromising the needed flexibility to handle bad data and frequent changes.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s* degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or related degree plus 2 years’ related experience as an Applications Developer or related IT occupation. Foreign equivalents accepted.

*The employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years’ experience in lieu of a Master’s degree and 2 years’ of experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Experience is required and must include the following: Programming and design across the Microsoft stack using C#, .NET4/4.5, WCF, ADO.NET, SQL, EF, LINQ, Unity, and Prism; Designing user interface using various front-end technologies and developing the data access layer using various object-relational mapping techniques; Utilizing various UI patterns including WPF, MVVM, ASP.NET/MVC, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS/3, and HTML/5; Designing business process flows, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams through the use of report writing, and mobile applications; and Defining, designing, and implementing software solutions.
