This leading financial services company has an immediate full-time opening in Plano, TX for a .NET Developer with 2-4 years of industry experience.  Will be initially working from home but in the future will be required to work in the office Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with some flexibility.  This Software Developer is responsible for designing, coding, analyzing, modifying, and testing applications.  Will work with clients to understand specifications and independently lead projects from layout to function. 

Requirements:
•    Bachelor's Degree in information technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
•    2-4 years of C#/.NET development experience. 
•    Demonstrated knowledge of application testing and ability to design, plan, and execute application testing strategies and tactics.
•    Solid knowledge of SQL Server, HTML, and Web User Interface.
•    Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
•    Ability to maintain a customer focus and efficiently and consistently produce accurate work in both individual and team settings.
•    Ability to problem-solve and develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles. 
•    Ability to interface with other departments to resolve issues as applicable.
•    Solid knowledge of computer systems including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
•    Strong analytical skills.
•    Financial Services and/or Mortgage industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities: 

•    Developing and maintaining C#/.NET applications.
•    Working on enhancements or updates to existing legacy applications by independently analyzing systems and requests, developing appropriate coding, and leading testing procedures prior to deployment.
•    Actively participating in software solutions design meetings to understand customer requirements.
•    Developing and managing business rules within existing systems.
•    Writing and understanding technical artifacts such as software requirement specifications, deployment scripts, user guides, etc.
•    Complying with IT as well as DevOps policies and procedures (e.g. SDLC policy, change management policy, DevOps workflows, etc.) and providing recommendations on policy improvements or changes.
•    Working in a team environment with other software developers, test engineers, business process managers, and project managers.
•    Adapting and learning new technologies and programing languages.
•    Developing and maintaining vendor relationships. 
•    Maintaining knowledge of software development best practices and providing recommendations for internal changes or improvements.
