Position: Documentation Specialist
Location: Remote- San Francisco, CA
Term: 3 Months
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Requirements Documentation Technology Solution Traceability and Testing (UAT, SIT) Project Management (scoping, planning, tracking, accountability)
- Lead and own service delivery activities that will enable the roles and responsibilities as aligned to new processes defined for our HR transformation
- Create process maps
- Translate process maps into clear operational hand-offs and train Talent Acquisition Verticals on those hand-offs
- Develop lower-level documentation (e.g., desktop procedures, call scripts, FAQs, others)
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
- Strong knowledge of HR & Talent Acquisition Processes
- 2-3 years of training, business analyst experience or document writing experience
- 2-3 years of project/program management experience
- Two (2) years hands-on experience in Workday HCM configuration, report writer and business process definitions required
- Proficient in generating reports and data analysis to assist with decision-making and planning.
- Adept at creating Documentation artifacts such as User Guides, Process Flow Charts, Project Plans, Test Plans and other collateral for training and process documentation purpose
- Understand how a process is designed and can partner with owners to develop tools for the internal teams to be ready to operationalize change
- Enjoy documenting and writing knowledge articles, process handoff spreadsheet and tools and general training / communications
- Ready to learn and can think from a the user s experience when designing materials
- Self-starter who can proactively work across teams to understand process documentation and translate it into training and communication
- Creative problem-solver who can develop thoughtful, innovative solutions to unforeseen challenges
- Ability of managing multiple, rapidly-changing priorities, deliverables and milestones
- Strong communicator has the ability to partner with people at different levels within and outside of the HR function
- Experience with Workday, Smartsheets, etc.
- Leading or participating in HR transformation effort
- Experience with process documentation, training and knowledge article writing
