Position: Database Subscription Coordinator
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA, 52498
Term: 5 Months Contract
 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Serves as a customer liaison for assigned customers within the Database Services business, managing several elements of customer relationship activities.
  • Has direct responsibility of billing for Database subscription contracts and subsequent monthly renewals. This role directly affects the relationship between the company and the customer.
  • Process customer requests for database subscriptions using pre-approved pricing and previously negotiated Ts & Cs.
  • Initiate monthly subscription renewals and ensure that they are billed in a timely manner.
  • Utilize an established network of internal contacts in other areas of the business.
  • Interacts with customer prior to and/or after sale developing and maintaining positive partner relationships.
  • Assist the Finance organization with the review of monthly revenue reports.
  • Receives general instructions on new projects or assignments. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy.
  • Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, referring to defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Responsible for measuring performance to customers on many dimensions. Areas of focus is root cause and development of corrective action.
  • Continue to develop and use analytical skills to perform data analysis to create resolutions to positively impact performance to all customers and/or serve as a precedent for future decisions.
 
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • SAP experience is strongly preferred.
  • Generally, applies fundamental service techniques and adheres to proper customer procedures when interacting with customers.
  • Demonstrates the ability to follow through with work assignments and support management's policies and procedures.
  • Able to provide the status of work assignments at any time and can quickly produce any documentation or information that is needed.
  • Uses various software packages to maintain and update documents and records.
  • Demonstrates the ability to base decisions on factual information and sound logic.
