We have an excellent Direct Hire opportunity for a BI Analyst for a large logistics company in the Western Suburbs.

  • 2-3 years’ experience as a Data Analyst or similar role working in a Data Warehouse or similar environment
  • 4-year college degree, or equivalent experience, preferably in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related discipline.
  • Proficiency with SQL for data analysis within relational databases
  • Understanding of data modeling techniques (e.g., Data Vault, Star Schema)
  • Experience with building logical data models (ERDs)
  • Understanding of data warehousing and ELT/ETL techniques
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with building and interpreting data flow diagrams
  • Ability to QA and troubleshoot data issues found within a data platform environment and trace it back to the source system if applicable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to present and communicate data results.
  • Proficiency in presentation materials such as Visio, MS Excel and Power Point
