Independently plans and conducts research design and sampling, including sample file sourcing and cleaning, survey development (including question development), qualitative survey tool development and project oversight and management.

Survey programming - responsible for programming digital surveys in survey software systems used by the company including skip logic, and testing of programmed links, as well as project management (leading entire life[1]cycle) for fieldwork and overseeing quotas and incentive fulfillment.

Work with software vendors to implement new techniques.

Conducts data cleaning, tabulation and frequency analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data using relevant statistical tools.

Completes stat testing to identify statistical differences in the data.

Analyzes and interprets results to generate observations to review with research manager for insights generation.

Develop graphics to convey data to help tell the insights story.

Plans and conducts secondary research involving searching, scanning and collection of relevant published industry data, syndicated studies, and other sources for insights relevant to business questions to be answered.

Identifies themes from independent research conducted to distill into key points for relevant issue at hand.

Independently supports market research team members in the entire primary market research process in alignment with business objectives, including research design, sampling, data collection, and statistical data analysis, creating reports, charts/graphs and PPT reports.

Lead primary market research initiatives with our customer insights communities.

Develop quantitative surveys and qualitative research discussion guides.

Facilitate the collection of qualitative research insights, including focus groups, depth interviews, ethnographic studies, and online qualitative methods.

Manage external research partners.

Conduct secondary research on customer, market and industry trends and assist in the synthesis of insights from multiple sources.

Bachelor’s degree – business or social sciences.

1 to 2 years of survey market research experience (can be through academic study).
