Position: Curative/Phone Advocate
Location: Plano, TX, 75024
Term: 12 months
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Read and understand all closing/lender documents, including but not limited to HUD 1 Settlement.
  • Statements/Closing disclosures, Mortgages/Deeds of Trusts, Vesting Deeds, Notes/TILs/RTCs, Proceeds Letters, Affidavits, Payoffs and Subordination Agreements.
  • Answer phone calls related to closing issues such as commitment changes, escalated vesting issues, escrow questions, etc.
  • Act as a liaison between our internal teams and clients.
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
  • 1 -3 years’ experience in a curative clearance role.
  • Ability to work in a high volume, team environment.
  • Experience with ResWare.
  • Knowledge of title issues and acceptable resolutions.
  • Knowledge of signed document packages, must know what is acceptable to clear signature requirements, etc. to issue policy.
  • Strong communication skills including proper grammar and spelling in electronic communication.
  • Motivated, and positive team player.
