Position: CT Experience Researcher (Supervising Associate)
Location: Alpharetta, GA 30009 - Remote
Term: 3 months
 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Manages data files/records from data-gathering exercises across methods, in exercises with growing complexity.
  • Conducts both qualitative and quantitative analyses using methods including, but not limited to, usability testing, heuristic assessments, contextual observation, interviews, surveys and eye tracking.
  • Makes significant contributions to brainstorms, critiques, and other collaborative sessions with multidisciplinary teams and performs participant recruitment through creation of screeners and scheduling.
  • Owns the analysis of existing data in areas such as demographics, technology, socio-economics, and the market to supervise cultural and social trends, and their impact on consumers' attitudes, behavior and perceptions, using solid knowledge to draw relevant insights.
  • Reviews research observations, research reports, research briefs, session footage and highlight reels and evaluates the findings and recommendations.
  • Provides significant input into proposals and project scopes with recommended design research approaches.
  • Drives adaptation and innovation efforts regarding research practices to meet team and client needs under tight timeframes, budgetary constraints or when faced with recruiting challenges.
 
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
  • BA/BS in Human Computer Interaction, Social Sciences, Design, Digital Media or related discipline.
  • Minimum of four years of professional experience as a UX designer, UX Researcher, Usability Analyst or similar role.
  • Experience with iterative usability testing and benchmark testing.
  • Experience working on Mobile and Desktop experiences.
  • Experience designing complex data visualization experiences.
  • Experience facilitating usability studies.
  • Experience conducting accessibility audits.
  • Experience using online/remote usability tools.
  • Experience with the use of Axure for prototyping.
  • Strong understanding of combining User-Centered Design principals with user research.
  • Exceptional presentation abilities, both verbal and visual.
  • Comfortable working face to face or in virtual settings across multiple time zones.
  • Excellent written communication skills to enable salient, comprehensive report writing.
  • CUA certified.
