Credit Risk Project Manager

Grow your career as a Credit Risk Project Manager with an innovative global bank in New York, NY. Long-term contract with excellent growth potential. Will be required to work onsite 2-3 days per week. Will focus on the coordination of cross Wholesale Credit Risk (WCR) remediation efforts. Will include leading/assisting in PMO resource management for other strategic initiatives and partnering with Issues Management group as required.
  • Execute strategic direction and provide feedback with respect to initiative or program creation, alignment to business goals, stakeholder management, executive communications and so on.Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, organizations and business heads.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure program scope definition meets business objectives.
  • Identify and drive resolution of issues, including those outside established programs of work as needed.
  • Manage the identification of risks that impact program delivery, and develop and drive mitigation strategies when necessary.
  • Plan and coordinate day-to-day activities of running a program or workstreams.
  • Execute change control effectively throughout program.
  • Manage resources that are assigned to program, monitor commitment and engage management when staffing levels are not in balance.
  • Identify, document, and understand workstream and project dependencies.
  • Measure program management performance against standards.
  • Establish program communication needs and create program communication plan.
  • Manage the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management and Program Leads on cross functional areas and other programs, as appropriate.
  • Undergraduate degree required, graduate degree a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in transformation/change management roles or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in delivering large and complex projects in matrix organizations, and interacting with teams across all lines of defense.
  • Familiarity with WCR regulations/policies/standards.
  • Experience in managing individuals or teams, both directly and matrix.
  • Excellent Microsoft Suite skills (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Project management skillset beneficial.
