Grow your career as a Credit Risk Analyst with an innovative global bank in New York City, NY. Long-term contract with excellent growth potential. Will be required to work onsite 2-3 days per week.  Will play a key role in the MCA/RCSA quality remediation efforts globally.  Will help with the implementation of robust controls framework to maintain the MCA quality.

Responsibilities include:
•    Work on components of the MCA transformation work as required by the Global Consent Order remediation program
•    Produce and assess MCA quality metrics and engage relevant teams for remediation / escalation
•    Work on components of the MCA transformation work as required by the Global Consent Order remediation program
•    Lead components of the Regulatory Inventory mapping enhancements and maintenance work as they relate to ICM
•    Produce and assess MCA quality metrics and engage relevant teams for remediation / escalation
•    Collaborate with first and second line teams, as well as related partner areas to investigate and resolve control issues
•    Provide support to partner areas and control functions on an ad-hoc basis (e.g. Compliance enquiries, Audit engagements)
•    Reporting of results, issues and trends for management follow up - summarize and present analysis in concise, though-provoking and action driven manner. Prepare materials and present results of analysis
•    Data Input and management of GRC MCA information
•    Identify and help remediate gaps in existing implementation of MCA Program
•    Support review and identification of key operational risks and significant unmitigated operational risk exposures in MCA for remediation

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree required
•    7+ years of experience in the business risk and controls domain preferably within a Wholesale Credit Risk environment
•    Proven experience in MCA / RCSA maintenance and transformation
•    Proven experience in independently handling enhancement projects and interacting with teams across all lines of defense
•    Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to see the big pictures with high attention to critical details
•    Ability to critically interpret regulations / policies / standards and convert them into logical procedures and control processes / documents
•    Excellent written and verbal communication
•    Interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization and across different geographic locations
•    A proactive and no surprises approach in communicating issues
•    Range of experience demonstrating flexibility in skillset and approach
