Our client with a global legal department has an opening for a Contracts Administrator/Manager in a fully remote position. This part-time position requires a self-motivated, flexible candidate who likes a challenge, with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage changing priorities, high volume work load and a range of job functions. The successful candidate will perform all functions with a high level of accuracy, accountability and initiative. We are looking for a great teammate who is dedicated, detail oriented, and passionate about understanding our third-party vendor products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review a broad range of standard and non-standard contracts and renewals
  • Negotiate with business partners to explain contract provisions
  • Manage the contract life cycle and record the execution version in the contract management system
  • Support data information requests by attorneys, Senior Contract Manager and business partners and respond to inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • High level experience in legal contract negotiation with both standard and non-standard boilerplate contract terms
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills required
  • Strong computer/technology skills required (Outlook, Word,Excel, Zoom, Teams, Sharepoint, DocuSign and PowerPoint)
  • Able to take direction and work independently, prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical and detail oriented
  • Practical and proactive problem solver
  • Extensive experience working with different levels of a company including senior level management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills


Education/Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years contract administrative/management experience required either at a law firm or corporate legal department
  • Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate required
  • Experience working with non-disclosure agreements and information technology agreements preferred, including statements of work and master services agreements
  • Experience working with consumer financial laws or highly regulated entities preferred, but not required
  • Experience with recent Data Protection/Privacy laws preferred, but not required
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Lavante and Corcentric (fka Determine) preferred, but not required
