Title: Technical Writer 
Location: Remote
Type: Part-Time Contract

Global Software company headquartered in Silicon Valley. 

  • Editing and proofreading content ranging from white papers, datasheets, guidebooks, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
  • Occasional writing of datasheets, email communication, blog posts, etc.
  • Editing Cloud Standards using BitBucket and Oxygen.
  • Strong editing/proofing skills are an absolute must. 
  • Quality over quantity/speed – must be conscientious; doing it right vs fast mindset 
  • Project management skills 
  • Tracking their own projects, approvals, etc. 
  • Ability to work with technical SMEs and ask the right editorial questions about technical content 
  • The writer does not have to be a professional service or technical expert. 
  • Ability to simplify complex topics into simple, understandable content. 
  • Skill working with Bitbucket and Oxygen (or other CMS tools) is highly desired. 
  • Collegiality and a positive attitude, easy to work with
  • need to be able to push back as needed.

  •  100% remote position
  • Open assignment duration
  • Hours will be from 15-25 hours per week, no set hours
