Terrific 12+ months contract in Plano, TX for a Content Strategist. Looking for someone who would be working on putting content for the company’s website. Will develop a content strategy based on a company’s business objectives and end user’s needs. Will oversee content requirements and create content strategy deliverables including conducting content audits (qualitative analyses of all the content on a network of sites) as well as gap analyses. Will assist with the technical configuration of content within SharePoint Online Technology. Would be responsible to make sure that how the pages are designed, and content is organized is logical for end-user’s navigation.
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Intranet team engagement & collaboration.
  • Engagement with business content owners to ensure the intranet provides the information end users need; content is relevant and up to date.
  • Understanding SharePoint Online Site design.
  • Ability to convert business owner requirements to a consistent organizing structure and good user centered design for intuitive user interaction.
  • Ensure key content is searchable and findable using the Microsoft Search Graph capabilities. Researching and staying up to date on the latest developments in terms of Microsoft Search and SharePoint Online design features/functionalities.
  • Updating older content to meet new content standards.
  • Ensuring consistency across all content, from websites.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years (post education) as a content strategist in a company or agency setting.
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Design-focused.
  • Excels in collaborative environment.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Comfortable with all levels of a project - from production to project management.
  • Communication and leadership skills.
 
Preferred Skills:
  • User Experience Design Methodology.
  • Experience working in SharePoint Online.
