Title: Cloud Engineer - Remote
Type: Contract to hire or Direct Hire Opportunity
Location: Remote

The IT Cloud Engineer is responsible for Deployment, Administration, Monitoring and Support for Microsoft Azure, Power Automate, Teams/SharePoint and all other Office 365 services as well as any other duties assigned by IT Management.

Skills

Must have knowledge and experience in the following:

  • Cloud deployment: Design and deploy dynamically scalable, available, fault-tolerant, and reliable applications on the Cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with architecting and deploying services in complex environments
  • Experience with working in DevOps type of organizational set-up
  • Cloud platform: create isolated, safe and disposable cloud infrastructure that can support models in production. Provide cloud platform resources to enable data scientists, engineers, and deployed use cases
  • Problem solving, fierce curiosity, strong analytical skills and demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Collaboration: build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable & effective workplace and an ability to work as part of an agile team (product owner, developers, etc.)

Desired Experience:

  • Azure Administration, Architecture design, Automation & DevOps
  • Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Runbooks, Graph API and Azure Application Monitoring
  • Strong practical experience in the use of PowerShell
  • Designing & deploying all Power Platform applications
  • Power Platform governance & best practice
  • Microsoft Licensing
  • Design, Development, deployment of scalable enterprise Teams/SharePoint Online solutions
  • Development of an end user training program
  • Integration with 3rd party applications
  • Office 365 Administration for:
    • Exchange
    • SharePoint
    • Teams
    • Security
    • Compliance
    • Federation to on-premises AD
    • Power Platform
    • All other Office 365 services
  • Domain and DNS management
  • Networking experience is a plus

Desired Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Microsoft Certifications including Azure Fundamentals & Administration
