Terrific 12+ month contract opening in Irving, TX (longer term or converting to perm possible) for a Mortgage Closing Manager. Role will be remote until covid restrictions are lifted. Will work with the Residential Real Estate Business to manage daily mortgage closing operations activities.

Responsibilities
•   Responsible for managing day to day mortgage closing operations activities.
•   Will ensure full compliance to processes and mortgage regulations, team management and productivity and pipeline management.
•   Proactive daily oversight and management of team capacity and load/pipeline re-balancing.
•   Works closely with upper management to define strategic roadmaps and drives execution.
•   Drive proactive closure and follow ups for all compliance matters.
•   Own / Drive follow ups for Compliance and Audit deliverables.
•   Identify and drive the closure of all Operational Issues.
•   Ensure staff are fully trained and competent in their roles and that they have the requisite management supervision on a daily basis; Ensure all staff are following policies and procedures and complying with all regulations and processes.
•   Drive process improvements to improve the client experience (internal and external)
•   Increase team productivity including reducing processing turnaround times
•   Daily sign off on regulatory compliance items (daily “all clear” emails)
•   Help drive the implementation of a new loan origination system
•   Own and Drive Ops loss reporting

Qualifications
•   10+ years of mortgage closing experience.
•   At least 5 consecutive years in a Mortgage Operations Management position.
•   Strong knowledge of the Mortgage industry and associated regulations and processes, particularly as it related to the closing process
•   Strongly prefer Big banking experience
•   Proven experience working with auditors and compliance teams
•   Exceptional oral and written communication skills, problem solving and negotiation skills
•   Exceptional client focused mindset
•   Strong process mindset and focus on process improvements
