Position: C# .Net Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC 28202
Term: 12 months

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Leading and building secure Application Development
  • Design, develop and maintain solutions to support key business needs
  • Build and maintain high-quality, high-performance, scalable software
  • Lead, mentor and provide technical leadership to teammates
  • Engineer Web Pages, Produce Design Documents, Develop Core Components and Common Services in alignment with development models, languages, and standards
  • Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively in an Agile Scrum or Kanban environment
  • Acts in a lead technical role providing technical guidance and consultation with application teams, clients, and Engineering Managers for their technology domain environments including but not limited to cloud, middleware, operating systems, applications, Software-as-a-Service, and Platform-as-a-Service products.
  • Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents programs using Agile development practices.
  • Provides the strategy and design for projects associated with their technology domain including, upgrades and deployments.
  • Utilizes advanced technologies and methods to integrate their technology domain with other technology domains, enabling the creation of new or expanded heterogeneous environments.
  • Develops new documentation and departmental technical procedures.
  • Directs the gathering of performance statistics to assist in determining hardware and communication tools needed to support projected transaction volumes, response time and system availability targets.
  • As an escalation point, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of highly complex technical problems.
  • Leads projects and manages the work of less experienced staff.
  • Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported technology domain.

Is this a good fit? (Requirements):

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience
  • 8+ years of C#.net experience
  • 8+ years of database experience
  • 5+ years of Web Services experience
  • At least 2+ years of experience with Angular 8+ or Angular Js
  • At least 2+ years of experience with other Front end languages (HTML, CSS, C# (ASP.NET, ADO.NET)
  • Agile experience
  • Experience with Automations and Unit Testing (Jasmine/Karma, Selenium, NUnit)
  • Candidate should have Brokerage Technology experience working on Financial Advisors applications.
  • Well versed with Microsoft C#.NET, Microservices, Azure and PCF technologies
  • Well versed with Microsoft SQL Datamart.
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • 8+ years of secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies experience
  • Experience with version control or source code repositories to include: Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory or XMLSpy
  • 3+ years of microservices development experience
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment
  • Experience with Container Orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker, CDN technologies)
  • Experience with IDE tools (VS Code, Visual Studio)
  • Experience with Cloud technologies
  • Experience with User Interface functional design (ADA principles)
  • Experience working in a large enterprise environment
