Business Support Specialist

Job Description:

  • Collaborate with our business systems developer to optimize our operational tools & execute on the technical pillar roadmap
  • Contribute to designing processes for providing localization in new tools and platforms
  • Maintain localization tooling and ensure connectors are working properly
  • Collaborate with the Localization team and developers across Slack to understand problems and provide technical support
  • Implement workflow automations to increase translation turnaround efficiency
  • Surface vendor-related technical issues and work with our systems developer to solve them
  • Contribute to keeping documentation of our tooling and technical processes up to date

Qualifications:

  • Over 2 years of experience working with Localization teams.
  • Experience with business process improvements, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience localizing content in various CMS, LMS and DTP tools.
  • Passion for relating to technical audiences and making sophisticated concepts simple to understand for users.
  • Experience with scripting in languages such as Python & Javascript.
  • Understanding code in order to diagnose technical localization issues.
  • Inclusive and proactive communication skills.
