Position: Business Initiatives Consultant
Location: Des Moines, IA - Bloomington, MN - Charlotte, NC - Fort Mill, SC
Term: 3 months

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include writing, editing, and coordinating complex and/or sensitive customer remediation communication, including letter templates, call center FAQs/scripts, and internal messaging related to compliance, legal and/or regulatory matters.
  • Requires strong collaboration skills to lead communication discussions or participate with business groups and project teams to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Proven track record of editing and publishing well-crafted, easy-to-read communications that are technical in nature, particularly in time-sensitive environments with multiple contributors. 
  • Responsible for leadership of cross functional/virtual teams to strategize, plan and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives.
  • Examples might include, but are not limited to: finance / operational / executive management review coordination, process improvement and redesign, change management initiatives, ongoing oversight of a leadership / diversity / recognition / Q12 or general program oversight.
  • Provides leadership in the integration /implementation of programs/services/initiatives with cross functional business partners, recognizing the significance of competing priorities and strategies, and adjusting as necessary.
  • Develops metrics and tracks/evaluates performance of programs, services and initiatives.
  • Ensures plans/programs adhere to appropriate policies and regulations.

Is this a good fit? (Requirements):

  • MS Word - Intermediate
  • 4 years of combined experience in communications
  • BS/BA or higher in English, journalism, professional writing, creative writing, education, or communications
  • Proven experience supporting multiple projects
  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning

Desired Qualifications
  • MS SharePoint
  • Technical writing skills are plus
  • A minimum of 4 years of communications experience. 6+ years preferred
