Business Analyst with Financial Services/Global Payments experience
- Strong Payments experience – great background in payment processing of Wires, ACH, person-to-person payments, etc.
- Solid requirements authoring & documentation experience
- Financial services experience
This role supports a strategic, multigenerational and highly visible project implementing new Receivables and Payments capabilities and products for customers ranging from Consumers and Small Business to Commercial and Corporate. Project scope includes cross-border (international) payments and receipts, as well as cross-currency (Foreign Exchange/FX) wires and ACH payments, leveraging both vendor Fintech solutions, as well as in-house developed platforms.
Required:
- Minimum 5 years business analysis experience, specifically in the field of business requirements development for customer facing products and services
- Applied knowledge of Payables and Receivables treasury management products within financial services, including global ACH and Wire processing
- Experience working with cross-border and/or cross-currency (i.e., foreign exchange) transactions
- Business analysis and requirement development experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate ideas to diverse business and technical audiences – strong communication skills are a must
- Self-starter who is able to operate with autonomy and drive progress across projects
- Experience navigating heavily matrixed organization, including multiple business lines
- Proficiency with MS Office software products including Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, SharePoint
- Financial services or related industry experience
- Knowledge of full SDLC
- Flexibility with working hours
- Coordinate and facilitate work across cross-functional teams (Product, Technology, Operations, Sales, Customer Service and other key business partners), for the purpose of eliciting and documenting detailed business requirements, specifically related to cross-border, cross-currency (FX) payables and receivables
- Collaborate with treasury management product managers to compose and revise customer-facing and internal product collateral, documentation, training materials and communications
- Schedule meetings and coordinate with stakeholders to obtain subject matter expert input and drive out product features and functionality
- Research and analyze internal and external product, industry and regulatory trends to further refine requirements
- Interacts with many roles and levels within the organization, including senior leadership, major stakeholders, PMOs, peer teams and third party vendors
- Identifies program/project-related risks, impacts and issues, documents as appropriate, and partners with project managers to raise visibility according to policy
- Facilitate working sessions and perform individual research to document new or revised processes and procedures, as well as to update related collateral/documentation
- May partner with technology through design, and with testing teams through QA and UAT to ensure end product meets requirements
