Our client, a leading bank headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, is in search of an experienced Business Analyst to join their team. You would be working on new digital/online banking service options for both personal and business banking customers.  Banking experience is NOT required.

Details:
Title: Business Analyst
Duration: 12 month contract to hire during that timeframe
Location: Remote to start and phasing into partial in office, timeframe TBD. North Hills area.
Key Skills: Requirements gathering, documentation in Jira, User Story Creation, Agile Methodology.

Description:
Partner with the Strategy Product Owner responsible for Digital Account Opening applications in the implementation and delivery of solutions for new product or channel concepts, enhancements, road map deliverables and support of current product platform. As a Digital Account Opening Business Analyst you will be responsible for:
• Performing business analysis for digital account opening team as a liaison between Product Owners, IT, 3rd party vendors and key internal stakeholders.
• Serving as a thought-leader and consultant for the business and lead all aspects of requirements analysis, traceability and testing for enhancements and new products that vary in size and/or complexity while supporting the current platform product suite.
• Assisting team with strategy execution.
• Managing the creation, organization, and documentation of business requirements, user stories, supporting documentation, test plans and test scripts and execute User Acceptance Tests.
• Tracking product or channel adoption and usage statistics.
• Providing operational updates to Product Owners regularly.
• Performing day-to-day operational support and be the first line of escalation for the organization. Escalate issues to IT and/or 3rd party vendors, when appropriate.
• Mentor more junior analysts.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 4-6 years of experience
Or
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years experience.

- Adherence to process and methodology requirements

- Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
- Ability to quickly make informed decisions and apply sound business judgment
- Ability to manage new tasks, assignments and solutions through multiple business analysts

Other Preferred Qualifications:
-Possesses an understanding of the internet, web application development and system design
-Agile experience
-Lean Six Sigma experience or certification
-Financial and/or Accounting experience
