Position: Business Analyst
Location: Plano, Texas 75024
Term: 12 Months Contract
 
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM
 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Product Owner and Systems team to review and refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify problems to solve based on specification management requirements and define business processes accordingly.
  • Execute complex assessments based on business requirements and risks analysis, and communicate recommended solutions.
  • Coordinate communication within the Agile teams and SMEs globally.
  • Translate and simplify user stories requirements between Product Owner and Technical Team.
  • Plan and monitor progress of user’s stories and project overall.
  • Execute plans for system design, testing and data preparation.
 
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
  • B.S. in Food Science, Chemistry, or Analytical Chemistry.
  • 10+ year of experience the food or related industry; ideal candidate will have a combined experience of Product development, and integrated formula and specification management software systems.
  • Experience with integrated formula and specification management software system (Product Vision preferred). Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products, and high-level knowledge of computer functions.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and activities at one time.
  • Effectively and independently manages time and priorities.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to prioritize workload and adapt to changes when needed.
  • Must work effectively with diverse personalities and work styles.
  • Must be a team player who can partner with colleagues to manage day to day priority changes.
  • Demonstrates high sense of urgency for results and be proactive.
  • Provides excellent customer service and display excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Strong work ethics, self-motivated, drive for results.
  • Demonstrates ability to problem solve, with sound judgment and decision making.
  • Appropriately handles sensitive and proprietary information.
