Job: Business Analyst

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Term: 1-yr contract

Position Summary
You will work alongside other business analysts and report to the Manager of EAM. Your main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing some user acceptance testing in our Oracle and mobile environments. To succeed in this role you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users. You will support the business in project implementation, key enhancements, and day-to-day operations. You will work with the business and technology team to discover better ways to perform their jobs and reduce cycle time.


Gathering business requirements

  • Performing requirements analysis
  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements
  • Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts
  • Use agile methodology in daily work and projects’
  • Run daily scrums
  • Triaging incident tickets and solve where possible
  • Work with leadership to implement new functionality
  • Map processes
  • Coordinate testing
  • They will work with users and document processes
  • Provides users with relevant systems training, as required
  • Communicate effectively with business stakeholders
  • Serving as a liaison between developers and users
  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports
  • Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
  • Assists in disaster recovery testing
  • Read, understand, analyze, interpret and apply technical data, manuals, schematics and related specifications
  • Conduct testing of applications, application enhancements, mobile applications, tablets, and responsible for testing new functionality
  • All other duties assigned

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role at mid-large size company
  • Minimum 6 months experience in software implementation
  • Experience with Oracle – Preferable Oracle EAM (strongly preferred)
  • Process improvement concepts
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Advanced technical skills
  • TFS – Team Foundation Server
  • SharePoint
  • Excel experience to expert level: Pivots, tables, V Lookups
  • Support.
