Our client is looking for an Audio Visual Engineer to join their company for a 6+month contract in Irving, TX!  In this role you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and installation and support of audiovisual systems across all their DFW sites. As well as managing and supporting all corporate video conferences domestic and international.


JOB SUMMARY:

  • Responsible for assisting with the set-up, operation and troubleshooting of the audio-visual and videoconferencing equipment
  • Provides audio-visual and collaborative technologies support to clients
  • Responsible for all technical aspects of production, ensuring picture and sound quality
  • Sets-up audio-visual equipment as required to optimize briefings, presentations and meetings; installs/operates podiums, audio mixing consoles, audio distribution systems, sound reinforcement systems, digital/analog audio recorders, and teleprompter systems and broadcast lighting systems
  • Configures and troubleshoots video teleconferences
  • Performs maintenance of audio-visual equipment
  • Video Editing
  • Maintains inventory of all video and audio equipment
  • Supports permanent equipment installations through vendor coordination
  • Shoot and manage a Live Broadcast throughout the company
  • Manages International meetings throughout the company
  • Manages multiple platforms for video conferencing i.e.; Teams, Zoom, WebEx, Blue Jeans, and more


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Responsible for ensuring proper operation of all A/V in all conference rooms to provide a high quality experience for users/audience.
  • Perform inspections of all conference rooms.
  • Evaluate and recommend solutions to conference room issues.
  • Provide setup and end-user support for meetings/events in conference rooms.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance with outside vendors for conference rooms.
  • Maintenance of projectors and screens, cameras, video switchers, large screen LCD’s, microphones, speakers, audio consoles, effects racks and audio recording devices.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving unforeseen equipment issues in a timely manner.
  • Technician will assist end user(s) in training/operating of equipment.


SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • 4-7 years of hands on AV equipment experience (Installation and maintenance).
  • Direct experience with various fixed/portable audio-visual systems and equipment
  • Experience operating audio-visual briefing systems including, but not limited to: cameras, sound systems, video projection and editing systems, video interface devices, videoconferencing, video recording and playback systems, and multi-media production software
  • Knowledge of audio mixing consoles/distribution equipment, audio recorders, amplifiers, microphone theory, power amplifiers, loudspeaker/configuration systems and lighting systems (indoor/outdoor)
  • On-site set up and operation of conference room a/v equipment and control systems including: microphones, speakers, video screens, and projectors.
  • Experience working with touch panel control systems (Crestron, AMX, Extron, etc.)
  • Experience working with audio and video conferencing (Microsoft Teams, Polycom, Biamp, ClearOne, Barco, Mersive, Crestron, Zoom, Blue Jean, WebEx etc.)
  • Detail-oriented, well organized and able to handle multiple tasks
  • Must be able to work independently and as a team member. Must have professional demeanor, positive attitude, patience, flexibility and a customer-service attitude
  • Strong IT background including computer and networking.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnostics of hardware, software and networking issues.
  • On-site installation, configuration, customer service, and troubleshooting of our computers, software, and related peripherals.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suites
  • Willingness to support Executive level meetings
