POSITION:   ASP.NET Developer

 

LOCATIONS: Atlanta, GA

            *Works at unanticipated project sites throughout the US  

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Provides detailed effort estimates to Project Manager & Client Team. Responsible for Project Plan meetings on weekly basis with Project Manager & Client Team. Gathers & validates the requirement which comes from the client Team. Prepares low level design documents. Works on multiple projects, integrating Umbraco content management system with .NET services. Performs development using ASP.Net MVC, ASP.Net, C#, Oracle 12g, MS Visual Studio 2019, .NET Framework 4.5, WebAPI, MVC Frameworks, Angular.JS, BootStrap, JSON, CSS3, JQuery, Team Foundation Server (TFS), Umbraco CMS, ServiceDesk Plus. Integrates certain functionalities with twitter for tweeting. Creates and implements Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, simple DDL queries using SQL Server Management Studio 2012. Works on Team Foundation Server 2015 controller. Creates the deployment packages using visual studio and raise the request to ITSO team to deploy the packages in each respective environment. Prepares Unit Test Plan and Intergraded test Plan with interface modules. Performs the Unit Testing at each level of application development. Defects tracked in TFS 2015 and pro-Actively closes all the defects with priority. Provides support to each project that has been delivered and works on their enhancements and maintenance levels.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s* degree in Computer Science or related field plus 2 years’ related experience as a Computer Programmer or software developer occupation. Foreign equivalents accepted. *The employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years’ experience in lieu of a Master’s degree and 2 years’ of experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Experience is required and must include the following:  Designing, developing, and supporting ASP.Net MVC development using .NET Framework, WebAPI, Angular.JS, Javascript, and JQuery; Integrating the .NET services with Umbraco content management system; Implementing Web User Interface, Business logics, and Data Access Components; and Utilizing MS SQL 2008/2012 and Oracle 11g and 12c databases.
