Position: SAS Developer - Remote 
Location: Woonsocket, RI 02895
Term: 6 months
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Use SAS and SQL skills in pulling the correct data-sets for analysis.
  • May be involved in individual or multiple projects like Campaign Analysis, Marketing Analysis, PBM Claims Analysis or Ad-Hoc reporting.
  • Work independently to research and document issues, determine possible alternatives, development and implement solutions.
  • Capture and document requirements.
  • Analyze the needs of the clients.
  • Assist with validations on client reports and develop any documentation as needed.
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in SAS.
  • Related experience in PBM or Pharmacy claims or healthcare claims on data management and data processing.
  • Have worked with large quantities of data (millions of records)
  • Experience with SAS/SQL programmer.
  • Experience creating reports.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products. (access, excel, word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Even better if you have:
  • Experience with VBA code, SFTP, crontab and Linux.
