We are looking for an Agile Scrum Master to join our team for a long-term contract to hire opportunity!
 
Position: Agile Scrum Master
Location: Atlanta, GA
Term: 6
 Months the contract to hire!
 
Your role:
  • Ensure that goals, scope, and product domain are clearly understood by the Team.
  • Coach effective Product Backlog management techniques for the Team and Product Owner to maximize value.
  • Help the Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies.
  • Assist the product organization refine the user stories to maximize value.
  • Coach the Development Team in self-organization and cross-functionality.
  • Help the Development Team to create high-value products.
  • Remove impediments to the Development Team’s progress.
  • Facilitate ceremonies and team meetings.
  • Introduce best practices that improve Team productivity.
  • Work with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization
Is this a fit?
  • 3-5 years recent Scrum Master experience.
  • Technical Degree or related work experience and industry recognized certification in Scrum or Scaled Agile.
  • Significant experience in an Information Technology/Software Development organization
  • Significant experience with Agile development processes.
Desired Skills
  • Experience doing release planning and milestone planning (based on the velocity).
  • Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM).
