Long term contract opportunity in Bohemia, NY for an Administrative Assistant. Will perform full clerical, administrative, and general office duties to entire site.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Schedule appointments, compose emails. May review and verify bills, invoices, receipts, schedules, purchase orders and other documents.
  • Relieve receptionist of duties by receiving and directing phone calls/guests.
  • Maintain supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level. Anticipate needed supplies. May assist with placing and expediting orders for supplies. Verify receipt of supplies and stock inventory when received.
  • Coordinate guest visits and lunch preparation. Work with external vendors for timely delivery and payment.
  • Provide general support to visitors.
  • Operate and maintain a variety of general machines such as stamp machine, coffee maker.
  • Sort and distribute all mail and faxes.
  • Coordinate and facilitate site events, meetings, and/or meals.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associates or Bachelor’s degree would be a plus.
