Position: Accounting Analyst
Location: Jacksonville, FL 32204
Term: 6 months
 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Performs basic accounting functions which require knowledge of accounts payable functions.
  • Answers customer inquiries.
  • Creates and edits spreadsheets.
  • Understanding of general accounting principles.
  • Verifies, sorts, posts, and checks claims, bills, invoices, and vouchers.
  • Invoice processing including uploading invoices file, invoice analysis, G/L account coding, customer service and general office duties.
 
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
  • 2+ years’ experience of accounts payable processing experience.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Type 40+ keystrokes per minute.
  • High Ten-key speed and accuracy.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • The ability to multi-task and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Team oriented person who can focus on the details.
  • The ability to deal effectively with tight month end closing process.
  • Knowledge of accounting functions and formulas within Excel.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Proficient in mathematics.
